Hi, my name is Andy Zell, and this is my blog. My interests are varied, so this blog will be about many things, but probably mostly books.  Some background about me: I grew up in conservative Christian subculture, even attending private Christian schools until I went to grad school at a public university, and although I don’t consider myself part of the subculture anymore, I haven’t lost my faith.  I never became an English professor, instead dropping out of my PhD program to move across the country and get married.  Currently I’m a stay-at-home parent to three kids.
